Today marks the opening ceremony of the 9th edition of the NYSC/MDG/WAP training ,a training scheduled to train 400 selected corp members drawn from all the 36 states of the federation including FCT Abuja.The one week program that started on the 11th of January and scheduled to end on the 19th of January is to train the selected corp members in the agro allied business of poultry, fishery, snailery ,grass cutter rearing,banana and plantain multiplication business and finally bee keeping, after the training each corper will be given an interest free loan of #200000-300000 to start there farm in any part of the country and pay back in the next 30 months, the WAP being war against poverty and the number one goal of the millennium development goal(MDG) is an annual program which has graduated a total number of 4000 youths and empowered 3500 ,some are also winners and beneficiary of the YOU WIN program and they shared their experience as an agro entrepreneur
