murtala120: 1. Make sure you have the right transmission ecu 2. Ensure you scan the car and there are no DTCs 3. If there are, post them here. |

A proper trouble shooting needs to be done before concluding that your ECU is the culprit. Go run a scan first and post fault codes here |

murtala120: I strongly suspect a wiring problem since you have just replaced the transmission, assuming the transmission you just replaced is in order. from what you said, I can tell you it is not brainbox issue. they didn't do connection well. check your atf level and type then proceed from there. in the worst case senerio, get another specialist to check it. |

Yes, ECU could cause your transmission to malfunction. The question is if that is your case. |

Murtala, check transsmission harness, check solenoids on valve body, pray clutches are still intact, if not get a neW transmission. |
