N'Djamena (AFP) - Dozens of Chadian tanks headed out of the capital Friday south towards Cameroon to help fight Nigeria's dreaded Boko Haram insurgents.

The convoy, seen by an AFP journalist, roared out of the city after Chad's parliament voted to send armed forces to Cameroon and Nigeria to fight against the Islamists.

Cameroon's President Paul Biya had announced Thursday that Chad President Idriss Deby had agreed to send "a substantial contingent" of troops to help Cameroonian armed forces, who have faced repeated attacks from Boko Haram.

A source close to the army said the force had begun preparing for departure on Thursday.

Earlier on Friday, Chad's parliament in N’Djamena voted 150 to 0 to send an unspecified number of "Chadian armed troops and security forces to assist Cameroonian and Nigerian soldiers waging war against the terrorists in Cameroon and Nigeria".

Boko Haram is fighting to create a hardline Islamic state in northeast Nigeria along the border with Chad, Cameroon and Niger. But it has recently expanded its terrifying field of activity to neighbouring countries.

Cameroon has been critical of the passivity of the Nigerian authorities and of muted international reaction in the face of Boko Haram aggression.

Since Boko Haram's insurgency began, around 135,000 people have fled the restive northeast of Nigeria, and at least 850,000 have been displaced inside the region.

So far Chad has been spared, but its border is not far from the Islamists' headquarters in the Nigerian state of Borno.

The entry of Chadian forces in the increasingly regional fight against Boko Haram may prove valuable in halting the extremists' series of ruthless offensives.

-An Enormously Horrendous Slaughter -

After describing Boko Haram as a direct threat to the nation's "vital interests", Chadian leaders moved quickly to deploy units of the country's powerful armed forces to resume its position as one of the region's most hostile anti-jihad forces.

In 2013 Chadian troops became formidable allies of French forces battling jihadist who'd taken control of northern Mali, and played an important role in routing those extremists out into the remote areas of the Sahel.

As they did so, Chadian soldiers gained a reputation for ruthless efficiency in pursuing and liquidating retreating Islamist fighters, and were credited with killing some of the most wanted radical leaders.

One of Chad's main objectives in joining its neighbours to take on Boko Haram is re-taking the northeast Nigerian town of Baga, which the extremist group stormed in a stunning show of force January 7, provoking the flight of 5,000 people.

Over 3,500 of buildings in the strategically-situated Baga and outlying areas were thought to have been raised, perhaps 2,000 people massacred, and hundreds of people taken captive in Boko Haram's offensive.

"Boko Haram kidnapped at least 300 women and held us in a school in Baga," a non-identified woman quoted in a statement released Thursday by Amnesty International said.

"They freed the older women, the mothers, and most of the children after four days, but they are still holding the younger women," she said.

On Thursday US Secretary of State John Kerry deplored Boko Haram's activity as a "crime against humanity, nothing less," and suggested the torment of Baga was a particularly stark reminder of the threat the group poses to the region and world.

"It's an enormously horrendous slaughter of innocent people, and Boko Haram continues to present a serious threat not just in Nigeria and the region but to all of our values and all of our sense of responsibility regarding terrorism," he said.

The chadians are playing mind games with Nigeria.Take a look at their involvement in the Chibok girls release scam, their pulling out
of the multinational force stationed at Baga just days before Boko haram overrun that community and now they are rushing to
Cameroon's aid to fight the same Boko haram. Our real enemies might be from outside with a few internal collaborators.

Coons going to do their French master's bidding. Funny thing is, in my Afrocentric days, Caribbeans and African Americans always were puzzled by why blacks appeared to be at the bottom of the pyramid of humanity. Slavery often puzzled them. They wondered how Europeans were able to so easily subdue Africans if Africa was a place of lost civilization as some of their intellectuals posit in all those wonderful Blacks ruled Egypt type literature. Those that accepted that Africans sold one another to European Slavers never could encapsulate in their minds how this could take place. Those that didn't accept this argument, had to contend with all sorts of hypothesis but never could settle on satisfactory explanations. Well, what is happening to Nigeria, how she is being betrayed by Africans and despised by Africans, including Caribbeans and African Americans themselves, for essentially standing tall and dispelling all of the white-mans theories of so called backwardness and inferiority of peoples of African origin compared to other so called races, is worthy of study. And yet no one is studying this. What is happening to Nigeria is living history of the stupidity of the African. It is a living illustration of how slavery could take hold and evolve in Africa into the fullest expression of human fallibility and yet no Afrocentric recognizes what is going on let alone write about it. Instead, out of share jealousy they tacitly support and want the worst for Nigeria.

A word to Nigerians:

Behold your brothers racing to Cameroon in preparation for you. Its no Melodrama. In spite of protestations the black man is never more content than when he is the pet animal of other races. If you're of the same color as the Black man and refuse to crawl like a servile creature, as he wants to be, he will despise you and join his white masters to hunt and slaughter you.

I've been stating for a long time that those peoples' you share the continent with are craven, sneaky coons and you shouldn't continue to make fools of yourselves by calling them brothers. Nigerians, build Nigeria and forget them. And for -expletives!!!- find some way to control your borders or you'll have nothing whether you remain Nigeria of form little vulnerable pies of Nations.

Dear Nigerian poor slobs, do you want social security for your children? If you do, pressure your government to build effective border controls. If you do not, in the coming decades, your standard of living will not exceed what it is today especially if you're reliant and expectant of the incumbent government of the time to improve your lot. This is because your borders are so open;meaning that the poor of all of West Africa and beyond are potentially your competitors for you own Nation's wealth and government provided amenities. Say your government decided in future to emulate the government of India and implement programs to provide the very poor of Nigeria free provisions for survival, you'll find that in this age of Information, poor people from far flung places in African will slip into Nigeria and become Nigerians. Their presence will ensure that the size of provisions available to you as a true Nigerian will be smaller, render the program noneffective in assisting the government to project its marvelous poverty alleviating program for the admiration of the world and consequently bring it to an end. This goes for future revolutionary housing, healthcare and such for the poor. The rich will be the rich but you the poor are the ones in the most need of security and social care.

Hope they won't be in the way when the NA starts its expected offensive against BH?

Chad and France are known to be turncoats in matters concerning BH.
They don't want BH to end due to their strategic interests.
