Those people saying that Buhari will win in next months elections are short-sighted or deliberately deceiving themselves. mature and discerning minds know that power will return to the north in 2019. cool

It will be a close contest, but GEJ will win eventually. Buhari is a wrong choice for APC.

But why would the yorubas be willing tools to destabilise the south; do they at all see beyond their noses?

sCun's hit thread was actually inspired by this one. So, why haven't you featured it on the frontpage to make Nigerians see the truth about their fake Messiah Buhari?

If you like you people shld keep relying on ridiculous irrelevant foreign analyzers to tell you useless lies.

Better wake up. Buhari has won this election.

GEJ is and will always be a loser. Nigerians are tired of cluelessness and incompetence.

To all ye Buhari supporters, If Buhari couldn't do anything better than witch hunt with absolute power, how can he perform better with shared authority? It is simple maths.
#APC is not the change I need.
#PDP is underperforming.
#The devil I know is better than the angel I don't know.

At this point, we (who need a positive change) must accept the bitter fact that APC were not what they said they were or they simply didn't know how to give us the desired change. Giving us a coupist and dictator as candidate is in itself anti democratic and not in favour of the change we need. Let's look elsewhere for the much needed change. Fashola for President come 2019.

Lmao!

The write-up is a fraud, and it wasn't officially written by Brookings Institution. They're just excerpts from an op-ed submitted to the institution, by a guy named: Jideofor Adibe.

And apparently, Mr. Jideofor Adibe is a Senior Lecturer at some University in Nigeria, named: Nasarawa State University. Just his opinion, and not that of Brookings Institution.

Anyhoo, why are Nigerians so fraudulent? Trying to tarnish the image of an highly regarded Institution, by attributing junk op-ed (Mr. Jideofor is entitled to his opinion) as the official statement by the Institution. This is basically junk journalism, propaganda, and deceit. More reason why I don't read Nigerian newspapers.

Where the votes wan come from??Certainly not from the NorthEast and North West.Maybe North Central. As for the SW,he can forget about it because the last time i checked PDP controlled only two states and their hold on one was rather tenuous. All these foreign pollsters and thinktanks in their air conditioned offices in faraway US must know something the people pounding the streets of Lagos looking for jobs dont know.Or the people in Otuoke who arent enjoying 12 hours of uninterrupted power supply in a day.Or the people living in Jos/Gombe too scared to leave their houses for fear of being bombed.......

[b]Brookings or no Brookings Jonathan is a goner. This rating was written long ago and events have surpassed it. After watching and listening to all the campaigns, Brookings themselves are confused and only wish they can retract their earlier position. A lot has changed since the primaries and many hitherto undecided Nigerians have fallen in love with the General all thanks to a lacklustre GEJ's campaign strategies and FFK/Fayose's useless rants. The wind of change blowing currently is beyond a Tinubu character. It's just magical. Let GEJites be reminded this is no 2011 where "I have no shoes" worked for their paymaster. His attempt at using "Okah was procured by some powerful Nizerians to kill me in 2010" to replicate "I have no shoes" backfired and further sent many would be converts faraway from him. Yesterday, Fayose drove the final nail into his coffin. I have no pity for a man so blessed who wasted a lot of goodwill albeit procured fraudulently due to cluelessness and crass laziness of the brain.

The oracle has spoken.

The last paragraph looks scary though.

“Post-election violence is therefore likely in the north if the APC loses while renewed militancy in the restive Niger Delta is likely if Jonathan does,” the report noted."

This is what most Nigerians are not looking into...... What would happen after Feb14 election
