Struggling with sin means that
you are struggling with your love
of a desires of sin. Part of you
wants to sin, you want to do it
otherwise it would not be a
struggle and their is a part of you,
the way inside that Jesus put into
you, that doesn't not want to sin
and these two are in conflict. But
when you struggle with your evil
desires and you decide that you
love it and you want to accept it,
it is then that you will fall into the
sin, feel guilty afterwards and
repent, fall into the sin again and
then feel guilty afterwards and try
and repent again. Yet you never
repented because deep down
you love this sin and you do not
want to turn away from it. So
when the hour of trial comes, the
heat of the moment and the
temptation, it is there that you do
not turn away from your love of
sin and it is right there that you
fail and show that you love sin
more than Jesus. Let us stop
struggling with our love of evil
and instead turn to Jesus Christ
full heartedly and crucify that evil
desire before him and no longer
let it take you into the depths of
sin. But instead decide to follow
Jesus full heartedly and instead
turn away from struggling. My
friend you do not need to stubble
with sin no more, you can turn
away from it today. When you
fight evil desires this is very
different to struggling. Fighting
means you put on the full armour
of the Lord and in temptation you
stand firm and you don't give in.
That is the victorious person. It is
only these people who will enter
the kingdom. The people who are
not victorious will not inherit the
kingdom of God. They shall not
have their names written in the
book of life and they shall not be
able to be received by Jesus when
he comes. Because Jesus only
promised the good things to
those who overcome. He did not
promise the promises of eternal
life to those who do not
overcome. They shall not have the
gift of eternal life for they do not
overcome. I encourage you today
greatly to think deeply and make
up your mind today, all of you
mind, so that you stop struggling
with sin and you no longer
struggle with it instead you turn
away from your desires and
instead you put Jesus first in all of
your heart...
