AM new to Free to Air and I am set to get one this 2018 at the same time minimsing cost...(DIY stuff possibility)

I need info on:

1. FTA decoder types (Latest)
2. Dish types with options of 2 in 1, 3 in 1 4 in 1 ( i told you am a newbie)
3. Lnb types dual or multi
4. Cable type if any
5. Codes and positioning (cosidering my place is a storey building i.e. i live on the top floor - don't mind my 'jelifa)
6. Switch type(s) for the dish/lnb/decoder
7. Any other items/info

My FTA blinks "bad signal " often. Please, what's the way out,what exactly is wrong? Also, my Diseqc that use to work with my two dish suddenly stopped working for both except one, what's the solution? Help!

Check if your dish has shifted and your switch may be bad. Troubleshoot by checking each lnb port separately.

I think the dish positioning is still intact because the signals are still as strong as before. Moreever , the first dish work perfectly alone except specific/aforemention one. Do you think the problem might be coming from the diseqc? Just as I stated yesterday the diseqc no longer work with two anymore? What do you think?

Try and get a new diseqc let see how it goes.

That channel I is on badr @26 not on astra 28, you need to raise your dish up a little to get the 2 sats. 10970 v 27500 is the frequency.

Check your cables if they are intact then check your dish.

Dish is intact and cable seems to be in order except some twisted part of it but it's showing quite few channels. What could be wrong?

Which channels are and are not showing,connect each sat separately without using Diseqc then blind scan.

Major or most channels actually. Yes! I have done that already. What could actually be wrong? Some said the sat is off might be off for now and new frequency might be required to locate it

Always do a regular blind scan on your decoder.
