What has this growth rate got to do with the lives of everyday citizens? Citizens in many Countries that have growth rate of 1% and 2% live far better than those with higher statistics. Yes, there are improvements in Agriculture and for farmers but that's because of the vision of one man - The Agric minister. If only all the others were like him!

Nigeria, you can hate to love or love to hate the country. It is either we top or rank among the top countries in both good and bad things.

I can't wait to start seeing more good things and less of these bad things the world has known us for.

It is well with us!

I don't trust CNN again, their lies don dey too much

You shouldn't believe everything you hear from the media. It's the fastest growing, not yet grown. Just a speculation. Abi you no see the english inside. ing.... HAS so many meanings.. It's either a happening or a supposedly happening thing. And in our case, it hasn't happened, they visioned it, so lets wait and see. Cos you and I know nothing is happening yet.

I read someone say investors will come in. Yes, true. Investors will come in, but they are coming in because they believe the system is corrupt and they won't need to pay such tax as they do in their countries. Which is why we have google now, we have microsoft, and so many more because they know they can beat the tax system.

GDP which is not being enjoyed or felt by the good people of Nigerian. How do quantify GDP, by speculations or propaganda, and by the way its not what the clueless one did that brought about this report but by the size of the country with respect to man power and not the TANist agenda that brought about this report. PDP have failed us and change is the only way out!!!! vote for change vote GMB by clicking like button!!!

This does not make any sense at all, for a while Nigeria has been "growing at about 6-7 and then the economy is REBASED.With rebasing came aout 60% increase in size of economy OVERNIGHT.
What this projection for 2015 means is a growth of about 12% on pre rebasing bases. All this at a time whn oil prices about 17% of economy has halved in price (= loss of about 8%) in othe word s if oil pries had remained the same our economy would have grown by about 17-20%. What sector is driven this phenomenal BOOM Adesina's Fertizer

This is a very commendable news. Despite the insecurity challenges bedevilling the country, no thanks to the bastad boko haram and their sympathizers, Nigeria under GEJ still shows great signs of economic growth and progress.

The enemies of this country will be disappointed with this beautiful piece of news, you all know who i'm talking about...the conductor boys of course who are always looking for 'change'

Hahahahahaha conductor boys? Omg you guys won't kill me o, they want change, if I may ask changing from what to what? Lol buhari for president? Ndi a adiro serious at all

Good for us. But can we all see the kind of despicable hypocrites these jonathanians are?? This is the same media house they call all manner of names when they report on the ongoing war in the north east. The say CNN has one mission alone, and that it; to see the capitulation of Nigeria under Boko haram. They say they "support" the terrorists. And now they quote thesame "terrorist sponsors and supporters" and get excited over news emanating from them.

What a sorry bunch.

what raw material do they obtain from lagos? everything that is been produced in lagos is brought from the other parts of the country. moreover we are talking of nigeria as a geo-political entity called a nation state.

In 2013 bags of Rice during the yuletide cost around 12-14K but last year it cost around 8K-10k ditto other food stuffs...despite falling Naira how did you think that happened?

Also engaging idle hands in productive Jobs helps improve security by reducing available hands for crime. That's why GEJ is focusing on the Agric sector especially in the North
that one no be the real deal. go to oshodi, you will see very nice itele going for 500 naira. grin grin grin
