Shut your dirty mouth, who gave the oil to them, Nigeria is Nigeria, one ethnic group does not control the resources of the nation just because the resources are being taken from that area. It's like driving all the Igbos out of Lagos because it is located in the Yoruba region, it makes no sense! This is why I love military rule, who born militants, thunder fire all of una! Na your papa created the oil or na your mama build Nigeria, useless bunch of goats!
You're a Bastaard!(and a Mad one)

May God forgive you. You have no idea of how wealthy Nigeria is across every state. were some excel in oil others in mining others in cash crops and iron ores . We are depending on 1percent of Nigeria wealth oil. 99percent of other natural resources is yet to be tapped across nigeria
Tell them oh,Nasarawa State has the highest deposit of Solid minerals followed by Kogi State,Jos is rich in Uranium and Columbite,Bauchi has Uranium too,Borno where the Cchad basin is located is richly blessed with Crude oil,Niger State has Gold Ogun State too,the list is endless,People think if Nigeria splits the North will suffer,i just laugh, check how rich they are by looking at the amount of Mineral deposits they have and you will think twice,Jonathan had the opportunity to change the Niger-Delta but he didnt instead he decided to empower a handful of thugs.

Now the argument moves frim "oil is worthless" to "oil has been discovered in the NE".

Like I said, Keep consoling yourself.

Keep consoling yourself too...

A lot of Nigerians don't know the NE has oil. Oil is worthless in terms of economic gain for now...

But countries still need to fuel planes and space jets because they haven't built a jet that can operate using electricity or sun.

Useless people and their empty threat. If Jonathan lost the election nothing will happen. If they foment any trouble the incoming President in the person of General Buhari will deal ruthlessly with them. They are terrified because it is glaring to all citizens that Goodluck Jonathan will loose this election. The popularity of General Buhari keeps soaring while they are busy asking for his certificate.

Sharap.. did anybody drag cocoa proceeds from you when you were farming . The oil us in their land and who owns the land owns everything in it .. are you suffering degradation

Coming to Lagos ..let me tell you something and it will hurt you ..Lagos was developed with money from Niger Delta so they have more claim to it than Yoruba

.oh I forgot ..is it not same Yoruba that chased away Ghana people in 80s..and your shouting today Igbo go to your village

Igbo case is difernt cos Igbo have human material and capacity but the Niger Delta have natural resources so they should be given a break or slack

That's my take

When we look at your history on Nairaland, it is a forgone conclusion that you are a certified psycho, the educated Igbo brothers and sisters dare not say what you've just said, it is only demented looking ones like you who has never held a gun before or shown any symptoms of patroitism that could have the audacity to speak in such an ignorant manner. When we look at it very well, is it not the greed of your mentors that led to the depreciation of the Niger Delta area? If your idols Ojukwu and Co. had not sold you and your brethens lies then millions of souls would have been spared and Igboland would have been more developed by now. When will Igbo touts like you learn from your mistakes, you want another Biafrian war, a war you cannot possibly win, militants or no militants when it boils down to it, the military would rather take over than to allow degenerate souls like yourself to divide Nigeria, even your brother GEJ cannot pray for division because he knows just how ratchet some of you are.

You are pathetic, South east align with south south, you are a joker! I suggest you learn from the elders the history of bitterness between the South East Igbos and the South South, it is because of this division that both greoups remain a minority!

Mr. Pathetic, you don't know history more than I do. Who is talking about the mutual distrust that EXISTED between both groups before, during, and shortly after the Biafra War era? Besides, what exactly is your point. . . . .is it that the South East would rather support the North than the South South if it comes down to it?

In the peculiar geo-politics of Nigeria, current interests always outweigh historical misgivings. If Nigeria were to divide into two today - with one half going with the barren, resource-less, and unproductive core North and the other going half going with a Southern region that includes the Niger Delta and it's oil, where do you think the South East would end up? That's essentially the point. It's all about where your interests are best protected.. . . Not about petty misgivings carried over from the 1960s.

What's the problem with all these Niger Delta misfits threatening fire and brimstone should their compatriot, Oga Jona loses his reelection?

These boys needs to know that Nigeria is greater than any human being, region or tribe to be held hostage by some classless few.

From the way things stands today, Oga Jona is going to lose and he will make the record of being the first sitting President in Nigeria to lose his reelection and let's see if we won't wipe off any town, creek or region that wants to forment trouble to unsettle the peace of vast majority of Nigerians that voted for #CHANGE.

How can you call them empty threat ..I know ijaw they don't give threat ...they crippled economy that they were begged for am best and you saw their guns and you call it empty threat

The way they called boko haram empty threat and this is Ur today

They called Biafra police action the war was so terrible that they decided that it was no Victor no vanguish

Advice

Never you underestimate any man that has fought a terrible war be it guerrilla like the ijaw and grounding Nigerian economy or the conventional war like the Igbo that took the battle 3yrs and bounced back stronger

To me it is wickedness if you want their oil yet you don't want their son to rule

It is either you choose the one you want

Yaradua's government was able to bring militancy under control because the Ijaw Elders talked to the agrieved militants to drop arms and accept amnesty, they opined , since the inception of Boko haram, how many of the Northern elders have called the boys to order, Gej extended the olive branch, Bh refused, he called for talks, they did not honour the talks or do you think Bh is not politically orchestrated by the born to rule madness.

Ijaw elders talked to Militants they droped weapons,Arewa and co in The North have never made any concrete plan to stop BH, Gej called for amnesty they did not honour the idea, he extended the olive branch to no avail. When he declared state of emergency they said he was harsh to the North

Just be in the know that if somebody wins the election, BH will stop automatically but there would be an underground establishment of BH all over the 36 states of Nigeria to implement sharia Law.
By then the idea of ,if it happens in the North u run to east or west will be too late because they will be every where.

think bf u cast ur vote whether u are extending BH menace or you are bringing it to a stop.

Mr. man stop dreaming, just look at the bolded statement. In a country with over 250 different ethnic groups, is it possible to just divide into two? I like to think we are both educated here and we know the difference between theories and practicalization. In what world do you see core Igbos coexisting with other ethnic brethens who do not share their ethnic sentiments? Furthermore, if the North split, do you think they can just split into one or two groups? The problem far outweighs the solution and I have yet to see the genius with a workable solution. Like I said, ask the elders and you'll learn more about the history of bitterness.

Blatant lie. Gowon is from a minotity tribe called Ngas. IBB is Nupe, a minority tribe. Abatcha is kanuri, a minority tribe. Abdulsalami is gwari, a minority tribe....no more lies to find sympathy for your Otueke-bound son. Come May 2015, GMB would be sworn in and nothing would happen.

As a matter of fact, Nigerians are not bothered with Chiwawa militants when there's a lion (bokoharam) next door. When GMB decimates Boko Haram finish , you chiwawa militants would crawl out from your creeks and beg for mercy.

Pls dont say what u are not sure of.
Neither IBB nor Abdulsalami are gwari or Nupe, d fact that they claim they are from Niger state does not make them one of the indigenois tribes of Niger state.
Both men are hausa-fulanis by origin, just like the current governor of the state whose father was a hausa immigrant from Sokoto.

If not for war since declared against Jonathan govt by some northern extreme right wing groups, the govt would have performed much better than what we have today; a man like Buhari would not have become a very prominent challenger against GEJ in the next presidential election.

So talk of war did not start with the Nigerdelta militants. In fact, Nigerdelta militants are reactionary.
