BLACK SEA: The movie stars Jude Law (as Robinson) a submarine captain with his crew of ex-submarine engineers who risk their lives to steal a multi-million dollar payday from a previous employer (a greedy marine company). After about a decade of service captaining a submarine crew at the expense of his life, Robinson was fired from his job. Following the information a mediocre severance package, with no clear path towards work, his former colleague provides him with a vital information regarding a lot treasure (a Nazi U-boat containing millions in World War II-era gold bricks) at the bottom of the black sea.

Following the unstable status of the political climate in the region, the marine salvage company has been unable to find or obtain the lost gold. Robinson decided to put up a crew of underwater specialist of half English half Russian, to pilot a Russian derelict submarine underneath a Russian naval fleet – in order to steal the gold without being caught.

However, when tensions rise among the submarine’s crew, as unscrupulous members of the team begin to realize that less men means a greater cut of the heist, Robinson is forced to keep his crew focused (not to mention alive) deep below the ocean’s surface.
