To the OP, the Bible clearly says in Exo 20:13 that "thou shall not kill". Jesus repeated it in Matt 5:21. You'd wonder why, then, God commanded Saul in 1Sam 15:1-3 to go and kill people including "infants". We also have so many stories about people getting "stoned to death" in Deuteronomy. In fact, God himself killed more if you still remember Noah's story in Gen.7. and many more. Tellingly, our Lord Jesus would kill greater number in the future.

If we are to take Exo 20:13 serious then God, Jesus and the Warriors in the Bible are sinners... It doesn't make sense, right? Yh. One of those things we get from man inspired fairy tales errorneously called God's inspired holy book.

in the bible times,israel had soldiers who fought 4 her.so it is not a sin to be a soldier.it depends onthe personal relationship of the soldier with God
