You didn't do well in the qualifiers how would you have done well in the main championship? You robbed many of us of our joy but I will forgive you anyway for your previous successes in 1994 and 2013. 2 Likes |

Its like Keshi has forgotten so soon that the tournament was meant for only those who qualified...and he and his boys could not put themselves in order after several matches which they were beaten by small teams and failed to qualify, is he dreaming? |

As much as people are hauling abuses at the coach, I think we would have made a good impact on this AFCON if we qualified. It was sad we did not qualify but I do not think all the blame should rest on the coach. The problems of the NFF affected the team. The NFF not giving the Coach a contract after the world cup had the Worst Effect. Imagine we played the qualifiers without a coach with a contract. How do we expect to qualify. Stopping Coach Keshi's job during the qualifiers did not help. Finally, the way we played the last three games of the qualifiers, showed we would have been a tough team for any African side. We beat Sudan 3-1, we beat Congo 2-0 and drew 2-2 with South Africa the group leaders. With that momentum, we would have done well but our poor and slow start stopped us from qualifying. jobsat34:There is a sign of change with the NFF. With the way they are handling the under age teams ie. the U17, the flying eagles and the dream team, it shows our fire brigade approach days are behind us. Also, employing a new coach is not ideal for the kind of transformation taking place in our football. The last games of Coach Keshi showed our team can perform. With the young home based players and our age grade teams. We should approach a progressive system. Coach Keshi should handle the World Cup qualifiers. Siasia should be next in line, then Manu Garba, then Amunike. These are good coaches who can take us to great heights. 1 Like |

Re: "We Would Have Don Very Well In Equatorial Guinea" - Keshi by jobsat34(m): 11:48am On Feb 06, 2015 |
thegoodjoehunt3: i believe you are right but what i doubt most in our local coaches is their tactical/technical abilities... i believe this can be solved with adequate refresher courses for the coaches (while the coaches also must not always wait on the NFF for this) and a sound technical dept in the NFF to be headed by a tested and trusted manager.. as for the age grade competition, i believe yu are right on that. i cant wait to see their progression into the main senior team.. 1 Like |
