some see emotional guys as gay or sissies guess dats why many are pimps and players. i aint emotional but i can care. it aint bad but let him not be a damn woman.

Emotions are very strong and when it comes to emotions i don't believe in sex discrimination, men too can be emotional and i don't think there's anything wrong with that

Men , Emotional?? It sometimes connotes weakness. Such men could succumb easily to the whims of a nagging wife or a crocodile tears shedding girlfriend.

Basically, african society frowns at men who show their emotional sides in public.

On a serious note, men could be emotional within the confines of their bedrooms. infact, In the bedroom, you will see red cap chiefs, or a Ribadu -like man kneeling down, shedding tears just for him to find his way to the blissful canal .

I recently had this conversation with a great friend of mine and was very disheartened that he thinks a man who shows emotions is weak. This is preposterous.

There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with being emotional, especially if it regards the one you love. Showing emotions in no way denotes weakness. It wouldn't decrease your manhood by an inch, neither would it lower you as a person.

I would rather entrust my heart to guy who doesn't mind "tearing up" every now and then( it's also a great stress releaser), than to one who portrays himself a stoned-hearted.
