Lions attack a full grown Buffalo only as a herd but in this case, the Lion has been cast away from his herd was really starving. Desperate situation calls for desperate actions.

The two beasts fought for more than one hour then they stopped and kept staring at each other for close to 5 minutes, all bloodied up and exhausted before going back to the fight.


The fight was broken up by other buffaloes when the Lion seem to be winning after close to 80mins of fight.

After this the lion managed to drag himself under a bush to lick his wounds. Both animals were covered in blood by the end.


Two days later the lion succumbed to his injuries, while the buffalo's carcass was found two weeks later having failed to fight off infection.

yes ooop dats hw our formal flat-mate used 2 fight his wife. Papa Emeka & mama Emeka dey use fight wake us up until 1 day De woman used Mortal 2 blast de husband's head & he fainted. Since den, dia ve been peace because de man woke up after 2 days

But the lion died first the next day. It was weeks later the Buffalo died. We must have that change to mark d death of PDP.

At the end, it was only a bad deal for the lion which also affected the poor buff.

The fact that the lion was starving and weak probably contributed to it. if it had been a full strength lion fighting against the buffalo alone, the lion might have won. In any case it is good for the lions to also have a taste of their own medicines from time to time.

a full grown tiger or a male lion will take down dat bufalo in few minutes. Dat lion is starved.

Of course there was a Victor cos the lion died after two days ,d infection could not have killed the buffalo that fast.

A lion can't take down a full grown buffalo. Are you kidding me.. Look at the size of that beast. It's just like saying a lion can take down a grown elephant.. I know it's not possible tho except it's an ambush from the lions.
