3 Nigerian pilgrims run mad in S/Arabia By Adebayo Waheed Thursday, January 1, 2009 Three Nigerian pilgrims who ran mad while performing the 2008 hajj exercise in Mecca, Saudi Arabia are on their way back home, Mallam Musa Isa, Vice Chairman, National Hajj Commission Medical team and coordinator of Medina office told Voice of Nigeria in Medina that the pilgrims’ condition might be attributed to psychological problems, depression and stress. He said the Nigerian psychiatric medical team had fully taken care of the patients for out bound journey with the state officials specifically briefed to arrange for immediate medical attention in Nigeria . According to him, the psychiatric doctors had administered drugs on the patients to stabilise their mental conditions. Three doctors had been assigned to accompany an ambulance provided for the pilgrims to transport them to the airport in Jeddah en route Nigeria. http://odili.net/news/source/2009/jan/1/602.html |

Something is not very clear here. So difficult to understand why someone will live healthily in a hell called nigeria only to go and run mad in a "holy land". |

By federal mandate, all prospecting pilgrims should be subjected to a meticulous psychiatric evaluation and gruelling physical endurance test BEFORE they even depart from Nigeria. This measure would greatly reduce the incidence of death by heat-stroke and other embarrassing maladies of this nature. |

Are you sure they didn't package them for export purposely?. Operation clean up Nigerian streets usually start from ndi ara and destitutes. |
