The stolen money must not be part of the budget. Oil bunkering money never makes it to gov't coffers. Widely accepted estimates of 400,000 barrels per day bunkered is $12Billion per annum. The highly respectable Prof. Soludo is a Nigerian that is exercising his rights as a Nigerian. Regardless of the political undertone that may be generated and the immorality in waiting till election time to raise these issues, the bright side is that figures are being bandied and figures don't lie! These figures can be evaluated with simple T-test, F-Test or ANOVA to find if the differences are statistically significant after the figures have been subjected to forensic evaluation. tit: Beautiful girl, don't be so harsh so soon after vals. The difference between Jonathan and obasanjo is that obasanjo insisted on saving funds in the excess crude account. The funds he saved prevented the Nigerian economy from falling into a serious recession during the global financial meltdown. Jonathan did not save any money and now the Naira should crash to about 270-300 to the usd at best before the year runs out. The pain this will cause should not be imagined and this is the real reason soludo is complaining. |
