See Arsenal fans!

10 years and nothing. You later won one FA cup, and you want to eclipse Chelsea fans whom you've always accused of making noise in shouting? That's the effect of winning. Don't forget that. You don't shut up when you're winning. You only shut up when you're not winning, and it's obvious you've nothing to talk about.

Arsenal have been without trophies for approximately 10 years, and within those 10 years, Chelsea have been sweeping in the trophies from all cylinders - home and abroad. So it's only natural that Arsenal fans would go cold, while Chelsea fans take the center stage. Now, Arsenal FC is gradually coming up again, and their fans are sprouting again. It's not humility or pride on the part of Arsenal fans and Chelsea fans respectively. It's just how the beautiful game makes you feel. Even when you want to control it, you still can't. It's the effect of winning. Enjoy this feeling when your team is giving it to you.

Congratulations to all Arsenal fans. You deserve it.

Spot on Joe. Coaches need time to build a winning team and Van Gaal is no exception. It was always going to be a difficult task replacing Sir Ferguson and I think they should have given Moyes a bit more time.
Like you said I hope they give Van Gaal the time he needs not that I care what they do there. COYGs.

You should go become a columnist for a leading Newspaper; say, Daily Mail, or a pundit for Sky Sports, or just a blogger - football and other general articles. You've got what it takes. Just don't let this talent go unused.
If you know you can't or won't use it, better pass it to me. grin

This is a very nice reality piece. I enjoyed it. smiley

I talked to you about starting a blog last year, what are you waiting for? Don't let this chance slip away, Ob. It could be a football blog, you know... And you can do it. You have all it takes.

Meanwhile, I went through your diary last night. You're simply good. I'm happy you still have that fire and spark to make people laugh and happy. It's in you. And thanks too, for that special and resounding welcome. smiley
