maybe someone in the medical field can help us out, maybe she has some brain disorder instead

I know my other cousin has the common one
shakes and gnashes her teeth

There are different forms of seizures.
Your cousin most likely has absence seizures-just stare into space and get over it in a few seconds or minutes

lol me? None. At all. I Thank God for health is wealth.

But Why do you want to know?
Are you offering free treatment to nairalanders with hereditary conditions?

Or you just want to know what they suffer from just for knowing's sake?

LOL

epilepsy starts when you are really young
all my cousins were diagnosed when they were really young like 7, 8 yrs old

I dont think I will ever show signs or have it in this my old age

and the epilepsy in my family is kinda weird
they dont gnash their teeth

my 19 year old cousin, just looks into the sky for like 5 seconds
and falls on the floor and remain unconscious for like 10 seconds
then stands up, continue what was she was doing before the seizure without acting like something happened before

Sounds more like a drop seizure. Don't know the medical term. I hope they get all the love and support they need

Sickle cell anemia sad
sickle cell is not hereditary but can be gotten if both partners are AS and AS. so if they are more than enough sickle cell in your family, then you guys need to start getting married to AA to stop the continuation. it can be avoided
