NNPC in the news everyday, talks of probes, talks of splitting the NNPC and calls for FG to do away with NNPC. inasmuch as I believe NNPC will remain. I suppose the employees will be concerned particularly about saving their jobs . Who among them will push the recruitment or convince d govt on d urgency for recruitment, and outside NNPC seems no one knows anything about us. I agree with those who say we should av a voice, let's tink abt a cost free and violence free media/platform to serve our reminder to those concerned. Those who know anyone who can assist us can invite them to dis group. One thing is clear, we need to pray.

I called phillips consulting on thursday july 30th 2015. I asked dem abt d nnpc recruitment stuff. D lady dat picked transfered my call to der HR department n dey told me dat the congratulatory sms did not get to all those dat passed b4 dey were directed to stop. Meaning dat some congratulatory sms is still pending. These were d words of d HR to me. Dey said if d go ahead is given frm nnpc to continue, dey wud resend d sms. With d appointmeent of d new GMD I think they wud soon commence cos dis wud b one of the files on his table. Dis z my first post in nairaland. Der z hope for dos dat didnt get it. Start prayn hard d hour for d interview is close. Thank God a new Gmd is here. No more delays.

Guys the exercise has been cancelled and let keep our fingers cross for another fresh recruitment. Bro and sis it is due to the reform by the new GMD. Bad news though but God knows best for us all.

But let keep on praying God has good plans for his own children of which we are oooo. Guy dia has been many shakeup frm GMDs, GEDs, GGMs 2 MDs ryt frm d recruitmnt itsef in 2012, d previous gmd neva startd it but ws durin d tym of Andy Yakubu. Mayb guys lyk u ar givin up bt odas stil blif n hopin sumtyn gud 'l kum out, dis is nt NIS & FAAN recruitmnt dat were rushd b4 may 29th bt NNPC tuk (as part) in2 consideratn d new govt dat 'l b kumin in.

This is what one of the new GGM (name withheld) said. GMD, GED or GGM changes has nothing to do with the recruitment process. NNPC must keep recruiting new people. The only way the recruitment process can be cancled is if they discover that it is seriously flawed and so far the evidence before them points to the contrary.
When I questioned further on the time frame, he said they have not even discussed that, but when they do they will pass their decision concerning their timeline to the consultant.
I just wanted to lay all these rumours to rest, in this regime where we are ruled by rumours and trial by error. I am expecting some reply from my APC friends. The Change is Here, is this the Change?
