Arsenal host Bolton Wanderers this Saturday at the Emirates, 15.00 GMT. That's 4pm Nigerian time.

Arsenal who are currently in the supermarket empty shopping basket in hand are looking forward to putting another 3 points in the kitty. Right now I can't even hazard a guess as to how the Gunners will perform this weekend 'cause they are fast becoming the most erratic top team in the Premiership.

Added to that is the list of injured players who will be missing this weekend.  .  .Silvestre, Kolo Toure, Cesc Fabregas, Theo Walcott, and Tomas Rosicky. All key players in the squad. Wenger feels Gael Clichy will make it for the clash with Bolton, but that remains to be seen. The squad is a bit short in the middle and at the back, but Gallas and Eboue just might be able to hold things up for the Gunners, coupled with the talented duo, RVP and Adebayor. Not forgetting Nasri of course. So things aren't so bad for the Gunners afterall.

Bolton Wanderers have been less than impressive this season. Their woes just might be compounded with the rumored impending swoop by money-splashers Manchester City on Kevin Nolan.
However, Bolton Wanderers are giving a trial to former Brazil and Real Betis midfielder Denilson. Manager Gary Megson is keen to have a look at the 31-year-old who is now a free agent after being released by Palmeiras. He might feature in Saturday's game.
Against Arsenal, Bolton have been quite poor this season. And there has really been nothing to say the team is going to make a ''come-back'' at the Emirates and get 3 points so Denilson might not make an impact if he plays.

The Gunners are the favorites for this one, but soccer is quite unpredictable.

Bolton Wanderers are a tough opposition for Arsenal. So all Arsenal faithful don't expect an easy match. The side with the much hunger for success will win the match but I hope Arsenal is the side to carry the day.

The Gunners have had their injury woes added to with the news that centre-backs William Gallas and Mikael Silvestre are both set for three weeks out of action with hamstring and thigh problems respectively, so Kolo Toure is likely to be partnered by Johan Djourou in defence. Striker Eduardo is close to a first-team return, but the match against Bolton has come too soon for the Croatian, while midfield pair Tomas Rosicky and Theo Walcott are both still several weeks away from fitness.

How will goals come when all Arsenal's doing is pass pass pass? And Bolton are being lazy in their attack. Arsenal are well-placed to win this but the excessive passes, especially those in Bolton's 18 are just not gon' help. Are they scared of attempting shots?
