U v spoken (ur mind) well.But i must remind u that the major problems of Nigeria since independence were/are:
=Ethnic politics i.e tribes in Nigeria hardly support a leader of a country who is not from their tribe e.g the mutual suspicion btwn Balewa and Azikiwe,Ironsi against Gowon etc.this makes development difficult.

=Lack of support from the masses: We seem confused always.when in a military,we clammour for a civilian govt.when the civilian govt is overthrown,we clap for the military we once rejected.Worsen by the fact that every incoming govt sounded like the MESSIAH yet all flopped.

=Inconsistent policies: Imagine a country where there is no template to work on (which of course can be amended with time).Every administration comes up with brand new policies.Is that how to build a country? Did u know that GEJ's transformation agenda is a refurbished 7 points agenda of late Yar'adua?

=Impatience: The masses again takes the blame.Sharp sharp mentality.GEJ is not doing badly.He is just not the publicity guy.the corruption peddled around by the opposition is ACTUALLY over-blown.its not the reality.If the energy we dissipate insulting GEJ is rechanneled into constructive criticism(as we have abroad),things would be better.

=Political culture: Because we spent more time under the military,the culture of a leader meddling the affairs of govt institutions became a norm.So we all expect GEJ to behave like military we grew up under.But no.He is a democrat.He is a bloody civilian Not a military man.let get used to the democratic ways of doing things or go back to the military style.

Remember,every candidate will sound like the messiah(just like they did in the past).A quiet-yes quiet,visionary,creative,responsible democrat in the person of GEJ is a new thing to Nigerians.And the people that understand this will appreciate it.we have two options:The military style and the democratic style.
