80pcs were sold since 20 got bad. Therefore, the answer suppose to be 23%. The closest answer is 25% undecided

Bought 100 Oranges @ 5 for #1.20 = #24
Spoilt Oranges = 20
Remaining Oranges; 100 - 20 = 80
Sold 80 Oranges @ 4 for #1.50 = #30
Gain = #30 - #24 = #6
Percentage Gain = #6/#24 * 100/1 = 25%
Ans = Option B

Orange Purchase
Quantity Bought = 100 oranges
Rate = 5 orange for N 1.20k
Amount = 5 . = 20 x 1.20 = N24
100
If 20 of the oranges spoilt, then the remaining oranges = 100 – 20 = 80 oranges remaining

Selling the remaining oranges at the rate of N 1.50 per 4 oranges = 4 = 20 units
80
20 units x N 1.50 = N 30.

 = Selling Price – Cost Price
= N 30 - N 24
= N 6
% gain = 6 x 100 = 0.25 x 100 = 25%
24
 % gain = 25%

Nawa o 20spoil. Well too bad.... Solution: 20/100 = 5% nw we add d %tage to 20 = 20 + 5= 25% shikena. I dnt knw d calculation all of u are doin sef.
