Typhoid and malaria are two different disease caused by different organism. Malaria is caused by plasmodium spp esp plasmodoum falciparum and the vector of this protozoan is female anopheles mosquito while typhoid is caused by a bacteria called salmonella typhi that is mostly transmitted from infected water . Malaria and has several similarities in their symptoms . moreover, there are still some differences between the signs and symptoms of typhoid and malaria.

Malaria patient tend to have nausea , vomits, chills , fever and diarrhea at times but typhoid occurs in stages and the signs show up gradually as the stage advances. patient may suffer from fever, abdominal pain, bleeding from the nose, lack of appetite and tiredness. Which later aggravate and signs such as reduced heart rate , diarrhea , and constipation start showing up.

One of the ways to easily know typhoid is when feeling feverish and antimalarial drugs have be taken and are ineffective press your abdomen if you could feel pain it is most likely the disease is typhoid and not malaria

All in all the best way to properly diagnose and pinpoint if someone is having malaria or typhoid is by undergoing some tests e.g. widal, typhidot, bone marrow, stool tests are used to diagnose typhoid while complete blood count , malarial parasite test , rapid diagnostic test for malarial diagnostic test.that are prescribed by the doctor to know the exact problem as soon as possible and the appropriate drug would be given.

Thanks for ur update. Diz 2 brodaz bad eh. I remember 2nd week of february,I was hit by one of them,one week of injection(morning & evening) first time to undergo that; but it's all well now. Thanks for the info.
