RESPECTFULLY WARNING PRESIDENT JONATHAN
Beware: Boko Haram Did Not Offer That “Ceasefire”
-Attorney Patryk Utulu

Dear President Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan, GCFR:

Our beloved Nigeria is under existential threat from Boko Haram, a death cult of religious fanatics. Their dream is to destroy our multi-ethnic, multi-religious Federal Constitutional Republic. Their scheme is to bomb, murder and intimidate us into submission. Their intention is to take away our cultural freedom. And their ultimate goal is to impose a primitive, alien, conformist religious culture on every square inch of Nigeria.

Mr. President, you are my leader but you also work for me. So as your employer and compatriot I’m obliged to offer you my expertise to help you defeat Nigeria’s enemies, foreign and domestic, and to reinforce your ability to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the law” in fidelity to your oath of office. Sir, you are a competent commander-in-chief so I’ll restrict my advice to the strategic psychology of war by taking you on a brief tour of the psychosis of religious lunatics where emotions and thoughts are impaired by religious animus. Jihadists have a locked-jaw vision that sees only one reality: As long as they think they are winning it is impossible to reason with rabid religious lunatics who believe that they have a divine license from the Almighty to rape, murder and wipe out those who do not mimic the style of acrobatics by which the lunatics worship. YOU HAVE TO KILL THEM TO CONVINCE THEM THAT THEY DO NOT SPEAK FOR THE ALMIGHTY.

That is the only definition of the war on religious terrorists worth knowing.

I am confident that as the Commander-in-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces you already know that today’s Nigerian Military was a colonial security hold-over. But it is important for our fellow citizens to be reminded that it was the 1900 [British] Royal West African Frontier Force that was rebranded (officially "founded"wink in 1960, as the Nigerian Army -- a mainly defensive CONVENTIONAL military force. Also, we both know that a conventional military, like a conventional war, is designed to operate in clearly recognizable "war fronts" to fight or defend against known enemies, mostly foreign armies. It was partly for that reason that the Nigerian Army was unprepared to fight Boko Haram’s ASYMMETRIC warfare without recognizable war fronts and where the enemy (Boko Haram) is hiding among civilians some of whom are blood relatives of the soldiers who would be expected to bomb their own villages and hometowns in search of faceless homicidal Jihadists who believe that God/Allah applauds their genocidal blood lusts.

Citizenship is a natural blood oath to serve one’s nation faithfully. Therefore, like you, I’m gladly condemned to speak the truth in matters involving the core interests of our nation. So my comments so far should NOT be interpreted as and are NOT meant to excuse the decades of POLITICAL Presidential neglect of the Nigerian Military. Just as I know that millions of Nigerians will NOT forgive or forget the combined 27 years (half of our nation's 55-year existence) in which coupist-generals and unpatriotic military adventurers aborted our democratic growth and in the process turned the Nigerian Military into a sleazy pool of regionalized, religion-based nepotism that elevated subservience and God-fatherism over competence, professionalism and service to the nation.

Please stay with me, Mr. President, because history is the study of the future otherwise history is nothing more than a series of stories. History is the rear-view mirrors in the vehicles for national progress. Meaning that history is both experience and a compass and those who do NOT heed the lessons of their history are condemned to repeat its tragedies. I have summarized the history-origins of the Nigerian Military to hint at the rough "conventional" edges it has had to overcome as it transformed into an asymmetric war machine that kills enemies hiding among civilians while simultaneously playing the “Police role” of keeping civilians safe. I am positive that my fellow Nigerians appreciate the internal and external difficulties that our military has faced thus Nigerians (except for millions of Boko Haram supporters) love our troops and are grateful for their sacrifice. I know how Nigerians feel because my online views and professional articles reach hundreds of thousands of Nigerians weekly and I receive their raw feedback. Therefore I am compelled to convey to you the raw sentiments and core expectations of Nigerians regarding Boko Haram's phony "ceasefire” offers.

Mr. President: Your employer (THE NIGERIAN PEOPLE) PRE-EMPTIVELY REJECTS ANY AND ALL OFFERS, REVIEWS OR ACCEPTANCES of any and all Boko Haram-related "ceasefire" offers. Nigerians expect you to ensure that Boko Haram’s Godfathers and allies understand clearly: THAT ON BEHALF OF NIGERIANS, YOU WILL ACCEPT ONLY THE UNCONDITIONAL, VERIFIABLE AND PRACTICAL SURRENDER (self-disarmament) of Boko Haram terrorists. It is said that life often imitates fiction. In reality fiction is real life in disguise. Thus, just as in Mario Puzo's "The Godfather," Nigerians would like you to know that whoever brings Boko Haram's next ceasefire offer to you is a traitor and should, under law, be treated as such. Sir, those who repeatedly bait you with publicly humiliating offers from terrorists do NOT respect you. This is one patriotic situation where it is far better to be feared than to be loved. And if you are still in doubt, Sir, may I refer you to the chapter of Nigerian History entitled, "How Many Times Would I Permit Boko Haram Allies and Traitors to Fool Me?"

In the name of 180 Million Nigerians I respectfully warn you, Mr. President, that this is an existential war between two deadly adversaries. The most committed will prevail. ONLY one will survive. Boko Haram and Nigeria cannot both survive. ONE MUST DIE. Jihadists do NOT believe in ceasefire. To Boko Haramites and millions of Nigerians who support them a ceasefire is merely a tactical time-out tool to REST, REGROUP, RECRUIT AND RE-SURGE TO GREATER VIOLENCE. Sir, do not again fall into their trap. Do not set Nigeria on the incestuously endless path (war-ceasefire-war-negotiation-war) of religious insurgencies in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Nigeria must not become Afghanistan where Government forces and Talibans would exchange gunfire for hours and then call a timeout for afternoon prayers. Taliban Commanders and Government forces Commanders would then walk to the middle of the battlefield and PRAY TOGETHER. After which they would return to the respective sides of the battlefield and resume fighting. Boko Haram does not represent the vast majority of Nigerian Muslims. We won't pray together and we must kill them or they will surely kill us.

In case you needed a reminder may I ask you, Sir: where are those so-called Elders Consultative "Etc." who for years misled you with breathless promises of Boko Haram "ceasefire" anytime our troops gained the upper hand against Boko Haram in the battlefield? Have you forgotten their claims of religious affiliation, gray hair magic, traditional bloodlines, and regional-tag mumbo jumbo for which they received NBillions supposedly to “settle” (bribe) the Jihadists to lay down their arms? Besides taking our money and hiding behind high walls and metal gates of their expensive homes (many never even left the safety of Abuja hotels’ luxury suites!!), what became of the ceasefires and negotiations the wise "Elders" promised? Nigerians have not forgotten the recent Public Relations disaster that arose from the fake “negotiations” arranged in the Niger Republic. What can you offer mad men who believe that they have a divine mandate to do evil in the name of God/Allah?

Finally, Mr. President, NIGERIA IS WINNING AGAIN. Our brave troops are sacrificing, dying and winning again. Nigerians are starting to feel good about our nation. PREDICTABLY, THE FACELESS RUMORS OF BOKO HARAM CEASEFIRE "OFFER" IS STARTING AGAIN. We’ve seen this treasonous horror movie many times in the past. Sir, you are the Director of Nigeria's Existential War movie production. Nigerians are watching to see if you will allow the same caste of treasonous bastards to again undermine our troops’ progress. And those Nigerian editors who assist these faceless traitors by spreading rumors of ceasefire should know that they are giving material support to terrorists. Nigeria is at war and treason is still a crime even in Nigeria of impunity.

NO CEASEFIRE!
NO NEGOTIATION!!
NO ACCOMMODATING EVIL!!!

BETTER TO DIE ON OUR FEET THAN TO LIVE IN SERVITUDE UNDER BOKO HARAM’S RELIGIOUS TYRANNY DEVOID OF CULTURAL FREEDOM. PLEASE FIGHT BOKO HARAM TO THE BITTER END, MR. PRESIDENT.

THANKS FOR YOUR TIME.

We must not accept d cease fire call by boko haram
