For those who applied for different positions during CBN's vacancies advertorial in July/August 2008, shorlisted candidates have been notified on Test date. I got a text from FITC this evening. It reads "You have been shortlisted for the CBN Recruitment Test Holding on Saturday 24th January 2009. Time and venue will be communicated to you soon, ". I am sure there are many other shortlisted candidates who may not receive this notification in good time to prepare for the Test. So, if you applied for any position, get ready you just might be shortlisted.

After I received the notification by text, i called the number that was included for enquiries and the guy who picked said the tests would be in 4 centers: Lagos, Abuja, Kaduna and one other place i cant recall probably Enugu. I applied in Abuja, so he told me my center would be here. So gate crashing would mean others who applied and are notified of venue and date would be kind enough as to share on nairaland so you know where those who applied from the same city(ies) as you would be writing.

Good to know you are shortlisted. I equally got the text msg and i can't remember when i applied for the job.
But am yet to confirm the Venue and Time of the Test. My location is East, so i guess i ll be writing at the eastern centre.

Pls anyone with a clue on what to expect in CBN test.

l got the text too but i am still awaiting for my test venue l applied from lagos l just hope my venue will be lagos too

cbn just postponed the test till further notice, you guys take note.

i just went to their site to get my venue and l was suprised that they have changed the venue

I guess they shd be experiencing technical problems like wat happened to me , i recieved the text that i was shortlisted for the test n dat time n venue would be sent soon, up till this present moment i vent received ay text, i checked FITC website for the comp. list i cudnt just find my name. So i guess it a big problem for them, but lets be hopeful things would work out for us this year, OUR CAPTIVITIES WOULD BE TURNED AROUND (AMEN)

The Financial Institutions Training Center (FITC) hereby announces that,all candidates short listed for the CBN Recruitment are advised of the postponement of the test previously scheduled for Saturday 24 January,2009.

A new date for the test will be communicated to all short listed candidates later.

Please cancel all plans you had made on account of all previous announcement or correspondence received from us.

The inconvienences caused by this postponement are highly regretted.
