Another bogus question.

Firstly, love plays a crucial part as it relates wanting a guy in your life.
You might not want anybody in your life at a particular moment but when love comes into play, you just have to succumb to its power

What I am trying to say is that when you love someone, you have no choice but to have the need for them to be part of your life.
If I love a guy so much, I would definitely need him in my life

Having said that, there are other reasons why I would want a guy in my life.
I believe life becomes a beauty when shared with someone. I wouldn't want to live my life in singularity. I would want someone else to participate in this magnificent gift with me.

As a woman, I would like a shoulder to lean on. Someone that will take care of me. Someone that would love me for who I am.
Someone I can share my feelings and opinions with.

I won't also leave out the delicate issue of sex.
Of course I would want someone who would make be feel good in an intimate way. Someone who would take me to high depths of ecstasy wink

Finally, I would want someone who I can create a family with. Someone who would be a good father to my kids and a good husband to me.

You know like we see female bashing thread every day here, where various forms of allegation are pointing to the fact that women are only or mainly interested in men for monetary and material gains. And we have seen many of them (ladies) defiantly defence this assertion as untrue. So I find this topic interesting because it has given them the opportunity not just to clear the air on that allegation, whether false or true, but to tell these women bashers why they are wrong and their exact interest/reason in wanting a man in their life.

Of course companionship is one valid reason and the need to get married someday. But I want to believe there should be more.

At the very core I think females want for the very reasons we want females.

Some might explore this tendency to want to an extent that it becomes exploitative but by default the reasons are the same.

By the way, it's good to see females such as Missjenna spring up to lend their voices to people like Mizmycoli (reminds me of the bacterium ,Escherichia coil ) as not being in the class of the stereotypic, ubiquitous, FEATHERBRAINED, cheap attention-craving gyno-humanoid species here on Nairaland.

Mine might be a dream but I want honesty and integrity in a man. I want a man who can revolutionise men(our future sons) To explain in today's society something went wrong somewhere because the sexes can't understand each other. So importantly I want a man I can understand. See women are complex and men are simple and it's this contrast that's ment to glue us together. So I want a simple man who isn't trying to figure me out but knows that if he plays his role and figures himself out then we will work.
I want my opposite so where I talk he produces (action). When I'm emotional he is in control. When I'm strong he is humble so we always fit. I don't want to compete with him and he never tries to beat me. I am his neck and he's my body.
