Postgraduate Programmes
'When an applicant fails to provide required
documents, (transcripts, etc) his or her admission
chances suffer in relation to those whose
credentials are complete'.....so everyone should try to settle their transcript issues so we won't hear stories that touch.

Pls i just checked my admision status. I saw a section that said : not yet financially cleared, hope its nt an issue. And nothing about transcript on the status, pls i applied for masters in financial maths(profesional). And pls when is the deadline for the receipt of transcipt. Pls help. Thanks

Login to ur application. Scroll down on the Application Menu page displayed, and click on Check Admission Status. Under Applicant Eligibility, u'd c Transcript Present. Which should read either YES or NO.

I called one of the lecturers in UI, he said and i quote; The number of candidates that scored 40 and above are too much than expected. The departments may decide to schedule another examination or upgrade the cut-off mark to 50%.
Now i am not in good mood because candidates that applied for my course (Information Science) are too much.
I only need God's intervention because i scored 43

Bro are u talking from a religious perspective or u've got confirm info from PG school I think the best bid these lecturers will go for is to conduct departmental test and set alittle bit higher cut-off, my thought thou!!

Bro, relax ur church mind. Atimes all dis lecturers say this to scare the shit out of u...they always say this to make the admission look so tough and competitive. The lecturer is not the admission officer now... And am sure he only knws about his dept where he lectures. Am sure UI ll knw how to reduce d number of candidates @ d nxt stage. CGPA or perhaps 2nd test might b conducted. They cnt increase cutoff to 50......even all schools use 40 as pass mark..Relax pple

Watching wat the goings would be like if truly it was pasted in PGSchool that 40% n above should keep checking their admission status for updates, i C no reason for increase to 50% or whatsoever. Departmental Test will be next thing on their mind..... So, let's brace up for that; for those departments that conduct that, n also, get the TRANSCRIPT down in PGschool, seem like that has got more weight than other prerequisites.
