The yam is called "Iyaghiri" in Igbolan. My grandma used to plant it. The yam has a special ridge or hip of soil for it, more bigger than yams. U don't roast it. When it over stayed in the ground and not harvested, the yam produces unpleasant noise like an old man trying to climb a hill.
