you just have to learn. Graphic design is less about software and more about thinking; typography, layout, colour are basic areas you should develop yourself in. Dont wait! start learning

want to be a professional artist, then you also need to learn drawing.

U don't need to learn drawing, the softwares are availabe for you, but u must have a good mental imagination of things u want to design and find how to design them using ur CG software of choice.

If you are a professional graphic artist then you will know you need to learn drawing, not core but a little drawing experience to visualize your imagination.
