From the above, one can conclude that Prophet Muhammad sent emissaries to Ghassanids who were allies to the Byzantines. The emissaries were killed and the Prophet wanted to punish the Ghassanids, but when the Ghassanids heard of the Muslims coming, they immediately consulted the Byzantines to come to their aide. The Muslims were 3,000 while the Byzantines were large!!!!

You fail to understand the Dhimmi, a Dhimmi of course is required to pay a tax called Jizyah. This tax is paid because they don't serve in the Muslim army, the tax is paid by ONLY MEN! This serves many purpose, just like the same tax an immigrant pays today in another country. Moreover, a Muslim also pays a similar tax known as Zakat which is used for the Development of the Islamic State! Please why on earth is this wrong?! The tax is a little amount paid to the state for your protection, wellbeing and others!

"Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture - [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled." What is wrong with this verse now, so are you telling me that if there is a warfare and the people are defeated, they shouldn't pay Jizyah? That's pathetic!

I wonder where you got Abu Yusuf commanding the killing of people who refused to pay Jizyah. Let's see what Abu Yusuf has to say:-

Yusuf stated that all adult males must pay jizya, but jizya is not required from women and children.[38] The jizya tax rate was declared to be 48 dirhams every year for wealthy non-Muslims, 24 dirhams for well off, and 12 dirhams for the poor, the farmers and the manual labourers. It must be collected from anyone who has any means (income, property), even if he is a cripple, invalid, monk or blind. Jizya should be collected in cash or in kind, such as goods, beasts of burden that can be slaughtered for food, or other property. However, jizya should not be collected from those non-Muslims who have neither income nor any property, but survive by begging and from alms.

Any non-Muslim who converts to Islam shall become exempt from Jizya, stated Yusuf. However, the new convert must pay Jizya for previous years, at the time of conversion, for the period he was a non-Muslim. The first Crusade was called by Pope Urban II about 200years later, when Muslims and Christians lived peacefully. They captured Jerusalem in 1096AD,before they captured Jerusalem they laid seige on Marra. They then entered the city and there was famine, they resulted to cannibalism, they started eating the dead bodies of Arabs(Muslims and Christians) and turks!! There was freedom of religion in the Muslim Jerusalem, no one was denied pilgrimage. In fact no one paid for pilgrimage, when Muslims tried to take over Christian or Jewish sites they were punished! When muslims conquered Jerusalem rome didn't react, infact when the muslims were advancing on constantinople there was a council in florence where the greek christians asked the western Christians for military help even at that it didn't come because they said the east was pretty far from the west. Constantinople fell and there was still no reaction from the west.

Go back and read why the west reacted! There was a masacre of western Christian on their pligrimage.
