For some odd reasons I don't think Basky ended up as a cop. He's probably a successful business man or conman as the case may be. He would probably set Blackie free so he can exert his pound of flesh or better still, maybe their cord of friendship is stronger than Basky would like to admit. He probably would not want to see his long lost friend and brother go down by the hangman's axe or from the range of a firing squared. Wow!!! I finally caught up. You are doing a great job LarrySun.
