shammah1: Tragedy was averted on Monday morning after fire engulfed the studio of the African Independent Television, Lagos State. Our correspondent learnt that the fire started at 9am after an air conditioner in the studio was affected by high voltage electricity. Men of the Lagos State Fire Service from Agege, Ikeja and Alausa divisions were said to have been mobilised to the scene around 9.30am in three water trucks. Director of Fire Service, Rasak Fadipe, said his men arrived the scene 15 minutes after it got a call. He said it took another 15 minutes to put out the fire. He said, “The fire was caused by high voltage. We arrived at the scene at 9.30am and we spent about 15 minutes for active firefighting operations. “Only the AC was badly damaged as we were able to curtail the spread of the fire. The management of the station had also combatted it and they must be commended for having all the fire equipment.” Fadipe advised residents of the state to be safety conscious, adding that, although the harmattan period was over, the atmosphere is now warm which could also support fire. http://www.punchng.com/news/fire-guts-ait-studio/ |

Remarkable: I see hate, anger, evil, wickedness and deciet all over, and I often ask myself, what is change in all these? Where or what are we changing to? Is it for good or for evil? Or is it that God wants to give us a greater punishment for our sins? These are questions I ask myself. May God help us out of this pit we're about to fall into.. 2 Likes |

HzRF: Pdp supporteres re expert in insulting people. Your case cannot be different cos a snake will always give birth to a tall thing. Let me dignify you with an answer for the purpose of liberating those gulible pdp members who may click like for your achievement in insulting well meaning and responsible citizens. Apc ve never threaten any war. Amaechi made a coment in which he told the world that if pdp rigs the election, apc will form a parallel govt. A position which apc confirmed is their position. Only a fool will allow a desparate govt to steal the mandate of the people. The implication of that state is that nigerians want their vote to count under free and fair election. The don't want a govt that will change the goal post in the middle of the game. You and I know that gej is ruling with impunity without rule of law, so it won't be nice dignifying him with the idea of going to court since he doesn't respect court orders. 1 Like |

Anointed08: The fear of the life of Prophet Nathan never stopped him from Telling David the truth when he took Uriah's wife and had him killed. The fear of being outcast never stopped Prophet Elijah from exposing and killing the prophet of Baals. These two scenarios where related to two Kings namely David and Ahab. Since you have a bible, you know how the story ended. One repented though his family suffered for it The other didn't and he lost everything. The evil that men do, lives with them and no longer lives after them like in the past. Covering truth is like using darkness to cover light. It's a waste of time. Only a fool tries to cover truth. |

nortcentrallord: Where is the truth i'm trying to cover? Or do you think it was Bola Tinubu that caused the fire at AIT office? If you have the evidences linking Tinubu with the fire incident, please go and report him to the police. Truth without evidence is nothing but a fallacy. |

HzRF: Let me ask u . When there is injustice and there is no room for redress cos the govt of the day had made such impossible, what do you think the citizens will resort to? This time around they people re warning ur desparate party in advance that they won't go to court to waste time cos ur party will get perpetual injunction that will keep them in power till their ill gotten power expires. Nigerians truly want change that's why every pdp moves re under watch. That's what I mean by been proactive.nigerians wi not allow your party to rig again. Never again. The best that will happen is gej will be ruling pdp states while buhari will be leading apc states which is same as paralel govt. Stop ranting and accept ur forth coming defeat in good faith |

greggng: If I may ask, and the way to go about it is being violent? In fact, I thought I never had to say this but GEJ is a weakling. There are ways to treat violent people and they will succumb. If anyone wants to vent their frustration, they should do so at their govt NOT private institutions. As an individual, anyone has the right to support or oppose; no one has monopoly of violence. |

Re: AIT Lagos Station On Fire by greggng: 3:51pm On Mar 09, 2015 |
manny4life: Is a shame you jumped into conclusion about this fire matter . In bauchi gej was stoned and pdp went on air as usual to create disharmony amongst nigerians. However. Investigation reviews that it was actually an agrieved pdp menber that organised that. For same reason some people in ur party re now calling for the head of muazu cos in their view he said nothing when the incident happened. The desparation on the part of gej to win at all course will be his undoing. Coming back to the topic , I put it to you that the fire incident in benin and ait re all pdp tactics to tarnish the image of buhari. Nigerians re better informed. When next issues like this happened ensure you get ur facts right before spread ur false proganda. What pains me is that people like u re seen as role model to some people. Your analytical mind set is zero if you can judge without investigation. |
