Yoruba Oba's don't bless someone by pointing their staff at the person. When a staff of an Oba is pointed at someone, that is a curse.

@OP, you are very silly and you will never do well. In yorubaland, that staff they are holding is called "opa ase" which means "staff of office" or "staff of authority". They can bless or curse by using the staff. The horse tail (irukere) is just a mere insignia. It's not a symbol of office since it is held by mere chiefs also.
