Hello guyz, i am considering buying a nigerian used passat 2002 model. the owner told me d only fault it has at d moment is gear relay. pls help with the peculiar issues wt this model and what are the other common issues associated with the car. also give me details of this gear relay problem that it has currently.

Your query is funny, its like asking a soldier man will this bullet proof vest save me from this ammo. You didn't specify whether its a tank ammo, hand gun ammo, grenade or a B29 ammo. Go back to your friend tell him to open the hood and check whether its a I4, V6 or V8 engine, petrol or diesel powered engine, what engine size the car is parking 1.8, 1.8Turbo, 2.0, 3.0 etc, also we don't know whether its automatic with tiptronic gear or manual gear. We are not cousins to IFA and neither are we related to obatala. We would have asked them for help

Vw generally is a good car, bt it's depending on d engineer u re using to fix it ... bt make sure d 1 u buying is in a good condition..... Cheers
