You must be new on this thread. The only differences are the Japanese can only play on the Japanese server (they can't play against other countries),there's no local multiplayer (so you can't even play with your friends at home or use your friends for an online match) and the game cover is different. The gameplay & graphics are exactly the same.

Not on consoles like the PS2 and PSone they're not. PES and winning eleven on PSone and PS2 are completely different games, the gameplay is different, the physics is different, probably even the graphics is different, can't really recall, been a long time.

That's a bit silly that Konami would waste precious money and time making the same game more than once, na them sabi...Yes the big companies like EA might censor bits for different regions, but to create the same game but with different graphics, physics & gameplay is downright silly & not cost effective. Unless...they used different developers, then that's possible why they would be changes in the first place.

I know though, Konami still develops PES for the PS2 while EA is even moving off the PS3, Konami does stuff unusually so who knows their reasons? Some would say it is a waste of precious resources and money to still build games for a console as old as the PlayStation 2 but Konami does not seem to care and keeps "wasting precious money and time" on it.
