You are taking it the wrong way
what this government has done to the youths
is making them to blame external forces when the torchlight
should be on them

Forget about Morocco, but their action calls in to question WHY?
why is jonathan using trickery to influence election using morocco?
why morocco? whats the significance? the angles to this? etc

It is simple.

The youth are just playing by allegiance. "Let us chase the wolf away first before we come hard on the disobedient hen"

Do you blame them?

The international community is tricky, double faced and mostly self centered. The youth are not dumb.

This Morocco saga shows clearly where Nigeria is headed under Tinubu and Buhari. Has the Islamization already begun? Is non democratic Morocco with middle ages absolute monarch what to aspire to under Buhari and Tinubu? Who's next? Pakistan, Gen. Sisi in Egypt, good ol Saudi kings or Al Bashir of Sudan.

Morocco as an islamic country can never support a christian any where in the word to be president against a fellow muslim, they are well known for these, recalling their representative in Nigeria is not a bad news anyway.

Just like they (Moroco) lost out in the African Nations cup (ANC) over their refusal to host the tournament because of the flimpsy reason of ebola. So also they would lose out again when GEJ is returned as President. I'm sure that they are only interested in promoting Islamic candidates. What a shame.
Mynd44:
Morocco has recalled its ambassador from Nigeria, accusing the authorities there of using King Mohammed VI in an election campaign.

Its foreign ministry issued a statement, denying the king had spoken by phone to Nigeria's President Goodluck Jonathan, as had been stated by Nigeria.

The North Africa kingdom denounced such "unethical practices", it said.

Nigeria has denied that the king was being used to win over Muslim voters.

Mr Jonathan, a Christian from southern Nigeria, is facing a strong challenge in the 28 March elections from opposition candidate Muhammadu Buhari, who is popular in Nigeria's mainly Muslim north.

'Astonishment'

The Nigerian ministry of foreign affairs released a statement on Sunday, denying reports that President Jonathan had been snubbed by King Mohammed because he was trying to curry favour with Muslim voters.

"This information is absolutely not correct as the president did in fact speak to the Moroccan monarch... both leaders spoke extensively over the phone on matters of mutual interest and concern," it said.

However, Morocco's foreign ministry responded by saying it wanted to state in the "clearest and strongest terms" that "there has never been a phone conversation" between the two men.

"The king has actually declined the request of the Nigerian government because it is part of the internal electioneering," Morocco's official news agency Map quoted the statement as saying.

"The kingdom of Morocco expresses its astonishment and denunciation to these unethical practices that are contrary to the spirit of responsibility that must prevail in relations between states."

As a consequence Morocco's Abuja ambassador was being recalled immediately for consultations, it said.

Why Morocco doesn't matter. Nigeria needs to start pulling her weight on the international scene and stop all this embarrassing begging around that we are currently doing.

We current have no sway internationally. International leaders avoid Jonathan and that's not good. Why the hell would the Ministry of foreign affairs lie like that? Especially with social media and we know the news will fly all over the age quicker than you can say jack.

We need to get our priorities right quickly and work hard to redress and fix our economy and provide a good life for our citizens. By this I mean basic infrastructure that a government should provide.

It's so easy to rule Nigeria because Nigerians are good at putting blame on people to avoid facing up to issues so all Jonathan has to do is give ideas for someone else to blame now Morroco. No on is talking about the silly lie by a while giant of Africa and all focused on even Morroco, wetin dey get etc thereby excusing your failure of a government again.

Same way during ebola days a whole minister of health came out to say utter rubbish with nano silver yet that wa a pushed under carpet and every one focused on America. Excuse your to be governments failure and blame other people

This stupid "African Mentality" has killed many of our youths. It is a cankerworm which has eaten deep into our bone marrow. angry

The integrity and probity of your country - the so called giant of Africa, which as a matter of fact, should set the pace for others to follow - is at stake, in doubt, and in fact, has been thrown to the dust, and this is all you could say? Well, it's unfortunate. undecided We, the youths of this country have bought into the bad ideas, mundane mentality and selfishly bitter politicking of these old fools we call leaders today. We need to liberate our future and fast. Our future is caged by these same people we are running mad for. undecided

Let us seperate partisan politics from patriotism

For rhe records I totally support Buhari/Osinbajo and they will ve my vote march 28

But please what is the problem with Morocco's govt/King

They decline a phone call based on religious sentiments and brag about that.Forgetting nigeria is a secular state not an Islamic one .And what happened to diplomacy why make noise about it in the first place

I feel countries like this are bent on dividing us on religion sentiments which to me is very wrong

Is the Ministry that stupid to make such a statement know that it is a lie, and that the King of Morocco can refute the story? Wouldnt it be better that they said the President never spoke with the King. I am confused. There is more to this story.
