O come light, rising when we wake-we strength in light of dark weakness-

The dark died in light, were we late?-late to be drained from being witness-

many rounds turns our many fate-we must beings, cry out many laughter-

on ends of ends we are stale-from whence to whence any after-

brave, not brave as we here remained-brave old breast wastes in amour-

shone, on shield rests pride so stained-crave, crave of peace,she silent the clamour-

eyes bright sees with eye without light-sun is light behind moon of glass-

imperfect we with perfect soul delight-smile o' lust through a faithful lass-

brag a veil over my rival brow-here to where it ends is whole hither-

dance of dim, no worries o' crow-do not remember light, not a mutter-

Tell us only stories o' the hidden-stories of wrong that fear will accept-

foul a say, ale makes sorrows even-clothed hide abominable facet-

no longer to abide by tolling bells-the truth why our lies always roar

face of brute boils the war well-never depend on truth, tend your hurt-

faces of noon ends in a sleep-die in cradle, dream in the tomb-

what joys a fool, lends our weep-forever a tool that lengthen the womb-

king crowned by a servant of clowns-false a tale that morrow is given
