Every effort made to force out tears was vain
my inside was burning with, hot blue flames of
regrets
my heart drummed a million miles a minute
am trapped in high tech shame of mistake
my face changes phase as wrinkles lace
i feel every tiny niggle of fear when the thoughts of
my dirty immediate past come flashing
i no longer enjoy my share of the hours
schedule for sleep,as a heavy finger of guilt gently
touches my lid.
dreams begin to permeate my waking conciousness
my deep unmentioned fear glows bluish
staring into the night,i saw my own reflection in
ghostly image of a tiny man
backlit by a soft illumination of memories antique
lamp, shining from my concience, making me shrunk
two inches.
I looked at her face, its remarkably unlined
she hated been primed by my lies
endlessly tears gushed down her cheek
my words were swept away by great doubts
as she lay listlessly by me,letting her fertile
imagination run wild of my mess
my heart nearly stopped when she called
only to say,
i still love you
But its too late to trust anymore.
