This story doesn't add up on too many levels. Unless the crazy man is super influential and rich enough to buy the DPO, no sane Nigerian police man will criminally assist in the disposal of a body without trying to maximise payout from both sides.

Na so u mumu reach? Dumb head. Is it not when investigation was going that it was discovered the boy was murdered, and the corpse exhumed for autopsy? Nairaland don suffer oooo

What a shame. Every neighborhood has a character like the murderer described in the report. The reason they act with so much impunity is because of their leverage on the police.

In civilized countries this incident is a golden opportunity to make a good example of the murder supect who is above the law and the DPO. Certainly not Nigeria. The present IGP doesnt seem to have done much since assuming office, other than his relentless attempt to appear loyal to PDP in the media. God help Nigeria.
