Yes, we bought almost all the appliances for the said kitchen aside the fridge and washing machine every other thing was bought in Abuja.

How much does this extractor hood cost? And why this over others? Please share.

The plumber working on the hole for the extractor hood.
Due to the fact that the client has done his tiles before we were consulted, the extractor pipe will be surface and not conduit. It will be hidden behind the upper unit cabinets though.

We are using the remote controlled touch screen extractor for this project. Trust me, it's worth all the cost.

The extractor hood you are referring to is Faber. It's a Uk brand, it has glass finish, easy adaptive control (touchscreen and remote control), LED lights and over all it has high rate of extraction from its 150mm ducts.

A brief lecture on charcoal filter

When ducting is not an option for you, all wall mounted cooker hoods can be recirculated using charcoal filters to collect the grease, odours and vapours from your kitchen.

Ducting your cooker hood is always recommended for minimising annual costs of running and best efficiency, however we understand that this is not always possible for some people.

When recirculating your extractor you must replace the charcoal filters often in order to maintain a clean motor as well as prolonging its life span.

It's easy to replace and it's cheap as well.

The thinnest you can get is 8mm board. Some people usually use if for partitions.
