romakvine:
BE A FARMER HAVING YOUR FARM DIRECTLY AT THE BACKYARD OF YOUR OFFICE
Obviously, in Nigeria today, agriculture is the next area where you can make more than enough money for investment and wealth directly at the backyard of your office.
Ogun state is really the backyard of Lagos state. Therefore, in Ogun state presently, you can get more than enough LAND to buy for farming at N250,0000/Acre or for building Houses, Hotels, Estates, e.t.c. at N500,000/Acre.
Farming which is the most essential part or aspect of agriculture will be advisably and encourageably talked about, because without farming, there must be a famine. Also the research for the last one year reveals that, all local farmers made a lot of money
Farming involves buying of a LAND for yourself which is advisable at a very cheap price like N250,000/Acre{6 plots of land} or getting the LAND through leasing like N10,000/Acre for a year which is renewable. Now, the farm manager will come in to manage the LAND for you for farming depending on the types of crops or tuber you may like to plant.
The types of crops that are advisable to plant are; Plantain, Corn, and Rice. For the tuber; Cassava, depending on how you can go along with the breakdown of the cost analysis involved for the planting of each of them.
COST ANALYSIS INVOLVED FOR THE PLANTING OF PLANTAIN PER ACRE
Purchase of land N250,000
Land preparation N 25,000
1,000 suckers @ N100 each N100,000
Planting of sucker @ N60 each N 60,000
Animal waste as fertilizer N 50,000
Application N 30,000
1st – 4th weeding N 32,000
Management N 30,000
Miscellaneous N 10,000
Total N587,000
The maturity date is 9 months. In a year after the maturity date, it could be harvested two times. A stand could produce at least 2 bunches and 1 bunch is sold @ N700.
Therefore, N700x2 =N1,400 for 2 bunches.
And N1,400x 1,000 stands = N1,400,000.
Also, one stand can produce 4 suckers round itself which could be sold @ N100 each in the same one year.
Therefore, N100x4 = N400 for 4 suckers.
And N400x1,000 stands = N400,000
So, the total output for one year after maturity date = N1,400,000+N400,000 = N1,800,000
The most beautiful and achievable thing in planting plantain is that, the production of the 1st year can double that of the 2nd year. Therefore, you can easily get double of your output for the 1st year in the 2nd year, and it continues like that. Also it is a permanent investment.
COST ANALYSIS INVOLVED FOR THE PLANTING OF CORN PER ACRE
Land lease/year N 10,000
Land preparation N 5,000
1st and 2nd plough N 20,000
Seedling (seed for planting) N 2,000
Planting N 5,000
2 bags of fertilizer @ N8,000/bag N 16,000
Application N 3,000
1st& 2nd weeding N 10,000
Management N 10,000
Harvest N 10,000
Total N 91,000
The duration period for corn to harvest is 90 days. 2 tones of corn at least is assured to get. And 1 tone is sold @ N90,000.
Therefore, N90,000x2 = N180,000 for 2 tones which is the total output.
COST ANALYSIS INVOLVED FOR THE PLANTING OF RICE PER ACRE
Land lease/year N 10,000
Land preparation N 5,000
1st and 2nd plough N 20,000
Seedling (seed for planting) N 30,000
Planting N 8,000
3 bags of fertilizer @ N8,000/bag N 24,000
Application N 5,000
1st& 2nd weeding N 20,000
Birds caring N30,000
Management N 20,000
Harvest N 20,000
Total N 192,000
If it is ofada rice, the duration period is 120days, i.e. from planting to harvest. At least one and a half tones could be got as output after the duration period. And 1 tone is sold @ N600,000
Therefore, the total output = N900,000
COST ANALYSIS INVOLVED FOR THE PLANTING OF CASSAVA PER ACRE
Land lease/year N 10,000
Land preparation N 5,000
1st and 2nd plough N 20,000
Cassava stem for planting N 15,000
Planting N 8,000
2 bags of fertilizer@ N8,000/bag N 16,000
Application N 5,000
1st, 2nd, 3rd& 4th weeding N 24,000
Management N 10,000
Harvest N 10,000
Total N 123,000
Duration period for cassava is 10 –12 months. At least, 9 tones can be got as output after the duration period. And 1 tone is sold @ N21,000.
Therefore, the total output = N189,000

Are you saying it's more profitable to invest in Plantain than in Cassava ?
