A certain man named Johnson in Ijesha area of Lagos has punched his wife to death over a piece of meat.
Trouble started when his second wife Jumoke finished cooking the meat her husband gave her money to buy to make a pot of soup and decided to hide it in her room so nobody will go near it. Shola the first wife who claimed she had been abandoned by her husband ever since Jumoke came into the house demanded that she brings out the meat to be shared. jumoke however refused to bring it out and this resulted to a dirty fight between the two wives.
Mr Johnson on hearing that her first wife was fighting the second, rushed out of his room an pounced on her. Shola collapsed and passed out. It was further learnt that shola has been suffering from high blood pressure which may have led to her death.
