The All Progressives Congress has won the presidential and National Assembly elections in the Kabala 005 polling unit of Vice President Mohammed Namadi Sambo in Kaduna

The APC scored 386 votes to beat the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that scored 53 votes in the presidential election. APC got 385 and 369 votes in the Senate and House of Assembly elections respectively while the PDP got 59 and 62 respectively.

The results were announced by the presiding officer Abdulfatah Ali.

Vice President Namadi Sambo, after several defeats at his polling unit by opposition party, trounced the All Progressives Congress at his new polling unit in the Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections.

In the 2011 general elections, Sambo was roundly defeated in his polling unit, ward and local government.

However, in the Saturday’s polls, the Returning Officer, Olorufemi Raphael, while announcing the result at the Kabala Doki Ward 5, Police College polling unit 11, said PDP polled 105 votes, APC 20 votes, NCP 01, and while APA 01.

The Vice President had earlier, on the eve of the Saturday’s election, relocated his polling unit from Link/Camp Road to swimming pool road by the Kaduna Police College fence.

The result of the wards and the Kaduna North LGA were still being awaiting as of the time of filing this result.

This will determine the overall victory of the PDP in the area.

You are right. Sambo attempted to hide his shame by running away to another polling unit far from his house, mumu. He couldn't deliver the unit right in front of his house to PDP just as GEJ could not do the same for the unit in Aso Rock.

The loss has since been reconfirmed and doubting Thomases now see that the loss is with a wider margin as initially announced.
