I read comments like this when age of senior citizens are mentioned. Don't be so sure that there was/is no record. And don't think our people have not been keeping records even in the early 1900s.

My mum was born in 1926. I have been able to confirm the date from 2 sources in the family. By the way she's still alive.

I didn't suggest that the age is not real, i was only concerned about the unfortunate circumstance that the ages of most Nigerians can not be verified as there is inefficient recording system, and no centralized database in the country.
