Exactly. He banked completely on the north and they turned out to betray him notwithstanding all he did for them. Simply stated, the result from the north shows evidence of betrayal. The southwest would have come to the rescue since he is sure the southeast and south south would give him votes, but he rather approached them late when the change slogan has taken over them else the division of votes.

2. Good luck fail to take the activities of professor Jega into consideration. He so trusted him that he overlooked every thing he does and even the advice people gave to him about Jega been compromised. Even when it was clear that there were underage voters registration, when the south complained about delay and missing PVC, he never responded decisive.

3. The visit of Buhari to UK may have changed things. I think the UK may have reminded the northern governors and elites of the slogan "Born to Rule" else they decided to support Buhari.

4. Religion cannot be underestimated. The north are not all that tribalistic but thier religion can change thier psyche instantly.

5. Finally the nature of the economy especially the issue of power which people has been yearning for cannot be addressed. When Prof. Nnaji did the magic in the power sector, people commended him and if it were to be during an election, Goodluck would have won. But unfortunately, he let the intelligent Prof to go and kept getting poor advice and information from some people working with him.

6. And, Goodluck knew those corrupt people, yet he never acted. Jagaban is one of those who is accumulating ill gotten wealth, Rather than Goodluck use the EFCC as his bull dog to keep chasing him not to even flaunt the wealth. He chained the EFCC somewhere and allowed Jagaban to use his wealth to sponsor buhari. Now Jagaban is untouchable except if Buhari turns against him and use him as a scape goat.

That awkward moment when Association of Witches, Association of Herbalists, Gurumaraji and other clandestine groups support GEJ. It leaves me with the question who then will God support? Can God and devil support the same candidate? That's absolutely impossicant!
Buhari thinks he is the president...
God has ordained him to die before ascending that throne. No body has ever survived in front on Jonathan before and it will happen aghain....
Lets wait till may 29 and see if buhari shall be alive grin grin grin grin grin grin

Exactly! GEJ made the biggest mistake of his life by giving the North all he had..not even his Niger delta enjoyed that much love yet he was betrayed because blood is thicker than water, it's madness for him to have marginalised Yorubas..yet many of us still showed him love in this elections

I'll like to see Buhari deal with jagaban grin

Ogbeni, it is not possible to deliver and make power sector work in 6months, the rot in the system will take time, even Obasanjo with all the billions he budgeted for the power sector was not able due to rogues and thieving politicians grin grin
You keep blabbing continuously, changing font colour like a confused madman and jumping up and down like an overfed Cameroonian frog.

Has the excuse started already? ever before been sworn in? buhari promised constant power supply in 6months and you are making excuses for him already? but you oafs and eggheads expected Jonathan to fix a country that has been rotten for decades in 4years right?

You are sensible, absolutely on point!

GEJ was always confused. It always took him too long to make a simple decision. You sack a minister and it takes you 6months to replace, setting up useless committees here and there on issues where he needed to be decisive.

He barely had a mind of his own, always wants to consult and listen to everyone. He listens to too many opinions and wants to please everyone when its not possible. Even the people he tried to please the most are the same people that detested and betrayed him the most despite the fact that his best performances were around their region- the north, viz-a-viz the agricultural and rail transport revolution, almajiri schools, but these people have a herd mentality and followership....such a pity.

Goodluck remains however the best president this country has ever had, if not for anything, Nigeria practiced true democracy under him where votes counted, freedom of speech and expression , passing of the FOI bill amongst others.

A very meek and humble man, always calm even n the face of daunting challenges, his personality trait is exemplary.

nice point brother. We only pray for the incoming president. I hope he would dispel the fear people have about and make every one including those that never voted him finally believe he deserves the it.
