this building Is very close to my house. the thing I don't understand is why will the government build buildings like dis and abandon it..... now the ministry is not functional and there are many others like this

Haven't you heard, that there is a new gov't in the nation tagged #CHANGE, just wait a few month and you will see gov't officials trooping in and out of the building.

This is the simple and wasteful spending from the government in the name of public utility

the property is not owned by government. i think it is a rented apartment by the ministry. the funny thing though is that most of these properties are owned by government officials and they rent it to government at an outrageous rates and collect their kickbacks. there are many of such proprieties occupied by non functional government agencies and ministries all over yenagoa.
