The Microsoft Lumia 640 XL is announced after the realese of the Microsoft Lumia 640. Just as the name implies; “XL” which can also stand for “Xtra Large”, is regarded as the larger version of the Microsoft Lumia 640. The two awesome devices possess similar features except for the screen size, battery capacity & camera.

With the new Microsof Lumia 640 XL, you can have access to the world of Android apps. Upgrade your experience with a big 5.7″ display, and a 5MP front-facing camera for high quality video calling.

Operating System
The Microsof Lumia 640 XL runs on Windows 8.1 OS with Lumia Denim update which gives room for OS upgrade to Windows 10 and offers both 3G & 4G-LTE capability

Bought it yesterday. This is my third Lumia. From 520 to 630 to 640xl.

I had been getting tired of the small screen, and the of 512mb of ram. Already deployed a 64gb card, so no space issues expected.

Migrated. I'm posting from it now.

in the simplest terms - the 630 was a major upgrade from the 520, and in the same venue, the 640xl is a major jump from the 630

much bigger screen, [720p] means its easier to browse
i had a lot of issues with uc browser in my 630 - maxiumum of 6 pages open - i am up to eight on the 640xl, maybe the constraint was the specs
the 1gb ram means i can now run angry birds

unlike the 630 - it comes with a charger and earphones
it also comes with a flash - which was a 630 bummer

all in all for me its a good buy, maybe not worth 50k - but thats our naira to dollar issue

i bought a 64gb sd card, and i'm currently downloading all the stuff i had to knock off my 630 due to space issues [16gb card]

The camera is awesome...its betta lumia 830 and other mid range android phone...the front camera is ok

I bot mine 2 days ago @ slot.its 49500 @ slot...its actually my first smartphone...d camera is awesome,the fone is fast @ playing minion rush,angry bird and asphalt 8.....i got d orange colour..the black colour is too dull.no white color is available in nigeria.

I watched the video comparison with the E7 on YouTube...the lumia 640 XL is definitely a winner.
E5 is a 5-incher. with 50K, you couldn't buy a better 5.5inch samsung fone. that's the point I was trying to make
