[b]Theo Walcott looked out-of-place when he played for England against Italy. Theo Walcott failed to make an impact when he played along Wayne Rooney and Harry Kane. Roy Hodgson substituted Theo Walcott 55 minutes into the England and Italy 1-1 draw match. Ross Barkley replaced Theo Walcott. Theo Walcott operated as a center forward earlier in the game. He later dropped deeper in the midfield while Wayne Rooney moved into the center forward role, hoping to break down the resilient Italian defence. Theo Walcott had not started a game for England since December 2013 and he hoped to make an impact in this game. Theo Walcott will come under heavy criticism from fans and pundits for his poor performance against the Italians. He should not let the criticism affect. But, he should remember it takes time for a player to rediscover his form after being laid off due to injury. Theo Walcott should know with a little patience and perseverance, he can rediscover his touch. He should not let the criticism affect his belief in his performance. Recovering from an injury is the first phase, it takes time for a player to regain his sharpness. When Aguero returned from injury recently, it took him time to get back to the level he was before the injury. The same thing happened to Radamel Falcao when he recovered from his long-term injury at Monaco. Falcao came under criticism for his poor form at Manchester United. Falcao played for a junior side of Manchester United as he tried to regain his goal scoring instinct. However, during this international break, it seems Falcao is regaining his form. Falcao had a successful international period after he scored three goals in two matches for Columbia. Theo Walcott needs patience and prevent his performance from affecting his mood.
