[b]Abou Diaby have endured a tough time at Arsenal and his contract will expire by June this year. Diaby have not put in a run of games that will enable him secure a new contract with the London club. Diaby have played 16 English Premier League games since the start of 2011-2012 season. Which is very poor for a player playing for a top club like Arsenal. The money Arsenal spent on Diaby while injured, would have secured a place for a young midfielder. Keeping him at the club is harmful to Arsenal's hunt for trophies. Diaby might be a brilliant player. His skill strength and charisma makes him an ideal player for Arsenal. But, Arsene Wenger should not keep Diaby at Arsenal because of his potential but his contribution to the team. Arsenal needs all their players on the squad list contributing to the club's challenge for titles. Diaby played a league cup game this season and a substitute appearance last season. It is time for Arsene Wenger to make a tough decision. Despite Arsene's trust and belief in Diaby's potential, Arsene Wenger needs to have a limit to how long he gives a player to prove himself at the club. Diaby's statistics are unimpressive and he needs to try his luck somewhere else. The only way Diaby can secure a contract at Arsenal is by playing regularly for the club. However, Arsenal is pursuing a place in the top four of the English Premier League and the FA Cup. With few games and a little chance to spend helping a player recuperate, I do not see Diaby getting games at Arsenal. What happened? Why did u suddenly come up with this 2day off all days? He's been a forgotten player in Arseenal. Fans dont recall that name these days. |
