what u can do with your future laptop is create a bios power up password. you can also create a bios admin password and tweak some settings in the bios.

bios passwords on laptops are notoriously difficult to break, so anyyone getting hold of a laptop with a bios powerup password is prolly getting how do they say - a brick, or a nice paperweight. if u forget the password u are fked - just keep that in mind. . .

the last time i checked, the only way to remove a bios password is to take a laptop apart to get to the eeprom chip, and flash it

most of the 'computer engineer's in computer village will try the old trick - removing the cmos battery for five minutes. this does not work with modern laptops.

if you take a laptop to pc village to get the bios password renmoved, you are more likely to get your system bricked than anything else
