TROOPS OF 8 TASK FORCE DIVISION NEUTRALIZE 10 TERRORISTS
-- RECOVER LOGISTICS AND RUSTLED ANIMALS

In continuation of ongoing efforts to deny terrorists freedom of action in it's Area of Responsibility, troops of 8 Task Force Division have neutralized 10 terrorists in Maza village in Marte Local Government Areas of Borno State. The terrorists fell into an ambush laid by troops at about 9pm last night, as they attempted to sneak back into their swampy hideouts in the Lake Chad.

Items recovered from the terrorists include 10 bicycles, 11 carts containing food items and 2 cows. In a related development, troops also recovered 50 cows abandoned by fleeing terrorists, during clearance operations conducted in Danari and Mowo villages in Monguno Local Government Area.

It should be noted that as the noose continue to tighten on Boko Haram terrorists, couple with the wet season, they have resorted to the use of bicycles and charts as means of transportation.

DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL MILITARY AFFAIRS HOLDS HUMAN RIGHTS WORKSHOP IN MONGUNO

In an effort to deepen troops understanding and appreciation of Human Rights issues and their impact on military operations, the Army Headquarters Department of Civil Military Affairs have organised Human Rights Sensitization Workshop for officers and soldiers of 8 Task Force Division in Monguno.

Declaring the workshop open, the Chief of Civil Military Affairs, Major General Nuhu Angbazo noted that the Nigerian Army is currently experiencing fourth dimension warfare; where the assymetric nature of the enemy has demanded that the army must work more closely with the civil populace, in order to understand, identify, engage and defeat the enemy. To achieve this strategic objective, Major General Angbazo added that "the Nigerian Army has embarked on this sensitization workshop so that our troops can become knowledgeable in the Laws of Armed Conflicts and therefore avoid those unprofessional conducts that could destroy their career and tarnish the good image of the Nigerian Army ".

Earlier, the acting General Officer Commanding, 8 Task Force Division, Brigadier General Stevenson Olabanji commended Major General Angbazo for the timely initiative and assured him that commanders would use the knowledge acquired to fashion out professional approaches to their military duties, in conformity with the vision with the Chief of Army Staff which is to ''Have a Professionally responsive Nigerian Army in the discharge of it's constitutional roles".

We already know who armed the rebels, the same people you cant arm their own people? they were armed to fight a leader who was smart enough to provide the best per capita income in Africa at the time?
The Libyan people must pay the price for removing Gaddafi, that price will be so steep that looking back every libyan will wish they never did, mark my words!!
when next America brings guns, Libyans should be smart enough to offer it to the trump haters first before destroying their country.

I am forced to clear this misrepresentation of fact.

Libya under Gaddafi had one of the largest stockpiles of weaponry in Africa, when he turned his guns on his own people and they in turn, turned on him and rejected him. Remember that was the Arab Spring.

Remember also that in Benghazi whole battalions rejected him, particularly as he had taken to using Touareg mercenaries to butcher his own people.

The west supported the uprising but did not by any means start it.

The people just raided the huge stockpiles and then defended themselves with the looted weapons. The more opportunistic amongst them sold the weapons to the Islamic Maghreb, even the Touaregs helped themselves to the freely available assorted weaponry. At this stage they too started their on rebellion and then Boko joined in buying weaponry at the Nations closing down give away sale, the rest is now present continuous history.

YES I AGREE

Gaddafi kept them in check just like Saddam did and now Assad has done and continues to do with blood thirsty slaughtering of his own people. Simply oppose and die.

BBC tales.
When there's a group of people whether locals or foreigners who are bent on destabilizing your government, you don't sit idle and watch.
Claiming Assad is "slaughtering" his people is BBC tales by the moonlight.
We have BH, why don't we just allow them to do whatever they want so we won't have the record of slaughtering "our people"?
What Jpphilips says is on point.
Despite the level of hatred shown by the Anti - Trump, they've never pick up arms against his government despite the many gun shops littering the streets of America.

What happened in Libya is NATO orchestrated plan that was well executed using the people against the government.

The problem they created in Libya is what we are contending with and trying to contain today.
